Fragrance and key notes...
During 2007 I found myself obsessing over the need to photograph fragrance bottles, particularly Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey Femme. I loved the idea of styling the table top set ups with the perfume's key notes in mind. "when flowers meet water" quoted from the Issey Miyake website. What lovely wording... the key notes which comprise this fragrance include lotus, cyclamen, freesia, carnations, and white lilies.
The other perfume photographed is Boss Femme Eau De Parfum. Key notes include Tangerine Freesia Oriental Lily. Rose petals
I must keep my eye out for ancient perfume bottles, they would make such a pretty subject to photograph.

Old work....
This morning I've been looking through my old photo work and stumbled a shoot I did a year ago when all the beautiful bluebells filled the woods. These images were shot whilst out on a shoot for a magazine Enchante, with Rosetta in 2009. My friend Rosetta specialises in this style of photography, she contributed to Bows edition one and Enchante. I've been out on a couple of shoots with her and this is what I came up with. I love this style, its so dreamy and magical. You should have a peak at Rosetta's work, its beautiful and perfected!
My dear friend Lucy was the star in this shoot. Splendid job!

A morning at Wentworth Castle...
This morning I had a wander around the grounds of Wentworth Castle. It's such a beautiful place I can only imagine how much more beautiful the area will look during spring time when all the flowers are out and greenery as green as ever!
I'm very much fond of stately homes. Many really are magnificent with beautiful grounds, beautiful furniture and characterful art work. I'm hoping to visit a few during the summer months. What a lovely way to spend a couple hours of day, wandering the grounds and admiring the rooms.
